Angi Gahler of Vessel Creations, started an interest in art at a very young age. She has a library of old coloring books that have never seen a colored pencil or a crayon, instead she would free-hand draw the coloring book’s images on a separate piece of paper. She would add her own personal illustrative additions to the illustration and then finish it off with color expression. She quickly started to create her original illustrative style and use other mediums such as painting, crafts and sculpting. Her artwork back then would mostly grace the fridge and her dad’s office, but now her artwork has reached across the nation in various mediums.

Originally from the frozen tundra of Minnesota, she holds a B.S. in Graphic Design from the prestigious The Arts Institutes International, Minnesota in Minneapolis. Angi and her husband, Kasey, now reside in Austin, TX with their Yellow Lab.

Angi Gahler, has produced graphic arts products since 1996. Among the awards she has earned are :
• 2007 Bronze ADDY® Award, Self Promotion, Peace Crane. Awarded while working at The Screamer Company.

• 2006 Bronze ADDY® Award, Interactive Media, MTV/Paramount - Bevis and Butthead DVD release Campaign. Awarded while working at T3

• 2005 Association of Educational Publishers Distinguished Achievement Award For Instructional Material/Children’s award for the Reading Strategies Tool Kit program. Awarded while working at Harcourt Achieve
